Dalgona Coffee for the Holiday Season

If you’ve fallen in love with the Dalgona coffee fad, you’ll be thrilled to know how easy it is to incorporate this delicious drink into your seasonal celebrations!

For fall and Thanksgiving, whip up Apple Pie Dalgona Coffee. With one easy substitution, you can make Pumpkin Pie Dalgona Coffee, as well. At Christmas, try Egg Nog Dalgona Coffee. Those on restricted diets will be thrilled to know these can all be made sugar free and dairy free!

Apple Pie Dalgona Coffee

2 TBSP instant coffee granules
2 TBSP sugar (sugar free option: use sugar substitute such as monk fruit)
2 TBSP very hot water
1/2 tsp apple pie spice
1 mug milk of your choice (dairy free option: use your favorite non-dairy milk)
OPTIONAL: 1/2 tsp honey crisp apple powder (we recommend the Sauk brand)

Combine the coffee, sugar/monk fruit, water, spices, and apple powder in a bowl and stir until everything is dissolved. Whip the entire mixture on high for about 2 minutes. (We recommend using a handheld or stand mixer.) Be sure to scrape down the sides to fully combine and whip everything, if necessary.

To serve, pour milk into a glass (hot or cold, your choice!). Spoon a generous amount of whipped coffee on top of the milk. How much depends on how strong you like your coffee. To drink, use a spoon or a straw to stir your whipped coffee into the milk, creating a creamy, smooth coffee drink.
