Hot Cocoa Tiered Tray

We combined two current popular trends into one fantastic new idea: a hot cocoa bar built on a tiered tray! The options are only limited by the size of your tray and your imagination. To build a hot cocoa bar that will impress all your holiday guests, consider offering some of these tasty options:

  • Your favorite premade cocoa mixes
  • Homemade cocoa bombs
  • Drinking chocolate, like Guittard or Theo
  • Candied stirrers, like peppermint and toffee
  • Espresso powder
  • Marshmallows
  • Your favorite holiday-themed mugs
  • Festive flavored syrups (don’t forget sugar free for guests on diet restrictions!)
  • Spices, like cinnamon sticks, star anise, chai spice, or cayenne powder
  • Extracts, like vanilla, coconut, or almond
  • Maple syrup
  • Peanut butter or butterscotch chips
  • Whipped cream
  • Festive sprinkles and/or chocolate shavings

You aren’t limited to cocoa fixings, either. Consider offering snacks that guests can nibble along with their cocoa. Favorite ideas include:

  • Homemade holiday treats
  • Peppermint bark
  • Rolled wafer cookies, like Pirouline
  • Yogurt or chocolate-covered pretzels
  • Caramels
  • Candy canes
  • Mixed nuts, including candied or chocolate-covered

Fill in empty spots with decorative items, like Christmas bulbs, greenery, or decorative signs. If you build a large bar for many guests, consider labeling all your ingredients to make it easier for users to choose. And don’t forget basics like stir sticks and napkins nearby!
